For the first time, keeping track of staff can be a simple process. KT allows you to view this information in "real time" from multiple locations including a fixed desk, a mobile desk, or even remotely (by a salesperson out on the road, for example). This can be accomplished using any one of a number of different devices, including desktop PCs, Notebooks or PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants). Combine this with the ability to manage the system at a central receptionist console, and it becomes clear that a compliance policy for your entire organisation is now a real possibility.

KT also allows you to publish important information on your company's internal network (Intranet), as well as being able to send instant messages (net casts) to users notifying them of important events. The perennial problem of keeping track of people's locations, messages and availability is solved for ever!

When you start up your computer and log in, KT allows you to display or modify your status.

The KT system has been designed to show staff information efficiently in real time, and runs under Microsoft Windows. The familiar, intuitive user interface allows you to become productive in minutes, whilst allowing easy access to the advanced features of the software. KT is built on the latest Microsoft .NET technology and operates on any networked Windows 98 machine and above.

Reception Management Console - Functional Details

  • Regular Contacts - All your standard daily contacts like couriers, stationers and suppliers.

  • Fire Alarm (Test Only) - This facility broadcasts a message to all users advising them that a fire alarm test will commence shortly
  • Fire Alarm (Evacuate Building) - This is not a fire drill. The fire alarm has sounded and you must evacuate the building immediately.
  • Static or Dynamic Net Cast Facility - Provides the ability to broadcast messages to users, either for general purposes or for more urgent notifications.
  • Receptionist Job Description - A great place to keep descriptions for reception duties including responsibilities. Particularly good for temporary receptionists!
  • Occupational Health and Safety - Place all relevant company occupational health and safety policies and procedures here for all users to see.
